Three things we watch for in Cannes
Bolder exterior lines. Fewer boats want to look “safe”. The ones that win have character — a distinct volume that stays in memory.
A closer bond between deck and sea. More glass, lower rails, fold-down platforms — the line between boat and water keeps blurring. That is a design decision, not a structural one.
Interiors as space, not fit-out. The best projects start from how a person lives on board, then fit the technology to that vision.
